- Pay your web hosting bill. This is usually done automatically.
- As Needed:
- When your credit card expires, be sure to update the renewal days for domain registrar and web hosting copanies.
- Or, if you close that card, be sure to add a replacement card.
- Weekly:
- Change something on your website to encourage search engines to revisit and review your work.
- Suggestions:
- Add a blog under your “about” tab
- Change a sentence or two on your home page
- Visit your site and run through all the pages and links.
- Review Google Analytics to learn about visitors and page views.
- Daily:
- Install WordPress updates for plugins and themes.
- Depending on the size, content and revenue generation you may want to create guidelines for making changes. Best practices for a site that generates revenue includes making a backup before updating anything.
